Trash or Treasure?? Appraisal Day - Join us
for an appraisal event to benefit the Sappington House Foundation,
Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 10:00am until
2:00pm. The event is open to the public and appraisals will
be limited to two items per person at a charge of $5 per item.
Specialists from Ivey-Selkirk will be offering verbal appraisals of
antiques and collectibles including paintings & prints, silver, jewelry,
and decorative art objects. The event will be at the Crestwood
Community Center in Whitecliff Park. For more information, please

Incorporated have teamed up for the first time to sponsor a dollhouse
competition. Young ladies (ages 5-18) from around the country
participated in Project Dollhouse - a design competition in which the
participants had to combine creativity, originality and teamwork to
create unforgettable dollhouses. The top twenty dollhouses will be
auctioned live in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday,
February 18th, 2006 at the Center for Puppetry Arts.
Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers is pleased to be involved in this charitable
event and will conduct this lively auction.
Appraisal Event at The Morris Museum, Augusta, GA
Specialists from Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers will be
traveling to Augusta, Georgia this weekend to participate in an
appraisal event at The Morris Museum, Saturday,
February 4, 2006, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The event is
open to the public and tickets are available - $10 for 1 appraised item
or $25 for 3 appraised items - all proceeds benefiting The Morris
Museum. Specialists will be appraising a variety of items
including porcelain and glass decorative art objects, paintings, prints,

75th year
celebration Ivey-Selkirk
is tremendously excited to celebrate our 175th year in business!
Since 1830, we have offered antiques and fine art at regularly scheduled
auctions in Saint Louis. In 2005, we expanded our appraisal
and consignment services and welcomed Regional Representatives, Amy
Lawch in Houston and Jill Keck in Tulsa. We have enjoyed offering
some exceptional collections this year and look forward to ending our
year-long celebration with our Winter Gallery Auction, December 3 & 4.

Fine Jewelry Reception
in Houston, Michel & Billye Halbouty Collection
On September 28th, Specialists
from Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers presented an outstanding collection of
Fine Jewelry during an evening reception at the St. Regis Hotel in
Houston. An assemblage of 300 lots featuring the Collection of
Michel and Billye Halbouty of Houston and including over 20 Judith
Leiber handbags sold to benefit The Lactation Institute of Los Angeles
will be auctioned in Saint Louis on November 7, 2005 at 7:00pm.

Saint Louis Art Fair
Thank you for visiting our booth at this year's Saint Louis Art Fair,
September 9-11. The event was a wonderful success, and our staff
enjoyed seeing so many friendly faces.

Society Appraisal Evening
Specialists from Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers volunteered their time at an
appraisal event benefiting the Missouri Historical Society,
Wednesday, July 27, 2005 from 6:30 pm until 8 pm. We had a
wonderful turn out and enjoyed seeing all of your treasures! Thank

Ivey-Selkirk specialists frequently
volunteer their time and expertise to support charity events and
appraisal days. Previously we have assisted with events to benefit
the Missouri Historical Society, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the
Alton Historical Society (Alton, Illinois), Cheekwood Botanical Gardens
and Museum of Art (Nashville, Tennessee), Cedarhurst Museum (Mount
Vernon, Illinois), Sikeston Historical Society (Sikeston, Missouri), and
countless other wonderful non-profit organizations. In addition,
we have had the privilege to lecture at luncheons given by the Saint
Louis Scottish Rite Society, Saint Louis Women's Club, the Saint Louis
Symphony Show House,
During our quarterly Gallery Auction
preview weeks, we have enjoyed wine and cheese receptions with
organizations such as Commerce Bank, US Bank, Spring Board to Learning,
the Saint Louis Symphony, and the Young Friends of the Saint Louis Art
Museum, to honor their valued patrons with an evening of Tastings &
Treasures. A wonderful way to tour our auction offerings and
learn from our specialists.
